Korean War Historical Seminar

The Korean War Historical Seminar will take place at the Springfield Hilton and Arlington National Cemetery beginning Thursday, April 19 and ending Saturday, April 21. Presentation topics include: The British Army in Korea and the Gloucester Battalion, MG Charles Willoughby and Intelligence in the Korean War, Special Operations in the Korean War, The POW Experience in the Korean War, Civil Affairs in the Korean War, and The National Guard in the Korean War. Participating Veterans include: General Volney F. Warner - L/3/31st Infantry 24th ID,               SFC Ron Rosser -Medal of Honor recipient with the 38th INF, 21D, and           CHAP (BG) Parker Thompson - last living Korean War Army Chaplin.

On Saturday, April 21 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, a ceremony with a keynote address by GEN Mark Milley, Chief of Staff US Army, will be held in the Arlington National Cemetery Amphitheater. The Tomb of the Unknown will follow at 1:15 pm and a banquet at 6:00 pm.

Registration fee - $30 (free for Korean War Veterans Banquet - $40
